Delete your Cortigo account

You can delete your account here. You do not need the app, and you do not need to be signed in.

What we delete

  • Your account and the ability to sign in.
  • Your mobile number and email address. The number is released, so you can start fresh later.
  • Saved cards — here and at our payment processor.
  • Your devices, push notifications and sign-in code history.
  • Your notifications, profile photo, and any notes a shop wrote about you.
  • Appointments you have not attended yet are cancelled, with no cancellation fee.

What we have to keep

  • Invoices, payments and refunds, which tax law requires us to keep for seven years.
  • The record that an appointment happened, so shops can still balance their books.

Your name, number, email and address are stripped out of all of it. What is left says "Deleted client" and cannot be traced back to you.

How long it takes

We wait 14 days before deleting anything, and we email you when the clock starts. Change your mind in that time by coming back to this page — we will offer to call it off. After that it cannot be undone.

If you work at a shop or own one

Barbers, shop owners, school staff and enrolled students cannot delete their own account from here: it holds appointments, earnings and records that belong to a business's books. Ask your shop or school to remove you first, and then come back.
